We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual measures, e.g. inquiries) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest, e.g. secure operation of the website).
This website is hosted on our own server (IONOS SE, Germany), which we operate ourselves. When you access the website, the server automatically collects technical information (so-called server log files) transmitted by your browser: IP address, date/time of the request, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is used exclusively for technical security and troubleshooting and is not combined with other data sources. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use our own, self-hosted analytics script (track.js, not Google Analytics or a comparable third-party service) to see how often individual pages are accessed. This script works without cookies and without recognizing individual visitors across multiple visits; no individual usage profile is created. Evaluation takes place exclusively on our own server. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the needs-based design of our website).
If you send us inquiries via a contact or application form on this website or by email, we process your details (name, email address, phone number if provided, message) to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Transmission is encrypted (SSL/TLS) to our central, self-operated system infrastructure at system.ebsportundtechnik.de, which runs on our own IONOS server (Germany); structured data (e.g. inquiries, CRM) is stored in a database hosted by Supabase (EU region Frankfurt).
The "Get in touch & book" button leads to our booking system at system.ebsportundtechnik.de/buchen. There we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email, desired appointment/service) solely to process and organize the appointment. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address to send you the requested content. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
This website optionally offers a chat widget where you can ask questions. If you use this feature, the messages you enter are processed to answer your inquiry. The chat runs on our own, self-operated system infrastructure (system.ebsportundtechnik.de) – no data is transmitted to external chat providers. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the chat leads to a contractual relationship.
This website uses Google Fonts for a consistent display of typefaces, loaded from Google servers (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When a font is loaded, a connection is established to Google's servers, and your IP address may be transmitted to Google. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption for the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact us at the address given above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Personal data from inquiries (contact form, booking, chat) is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, but at the latest after expiry of statutory retention obligations.
