Metabolic optimization
Understand and tune your energy balance – for endurance that lasts, and less craving.

Cycling can be the best thing for your health – or slowly wear you down. The difference isn't more training, it's the right knowledge: riding position, load and nutrition that fit together.
Competitive sport isn't inherently healthy. And many recreational riders aren't either – because they never align training and nutrition. Only with knowledge does cycling become genuine health.
Anyone training at the wrong pace, with the wrong nutrition and no recovery risks unnoticed overload – up to RED-S, joint problems, arthritis, poor sleep, even bleeding gums. Performance without health doesn't last.
Many tour riders love their bike, but lack the tools: bad weekly planning, no suitable nutrition, no recovery. The result is discomfort instead of joy – and years later, wear and tear that could have been avoided.
The solution is the same in both cases: align your training, your nutrition and your bike so you ride healthier and more efficiently.

Cycling makes you healthy – dosed wrong, it makes you sick. If you train too hard for years, eat too little or the wrong way, and ignore recovery, you slide unnoticed into an energy deficit (RED-S). The consequences often show up late and affect your entire body:
This is exactly where knowledge decides your health. Anyone who can read their values and align training, nutrition and recovery gets performance and stays healthy – for a lifetime.
Whether entirely on your own with the app, in a self-paced course, or with personal guidance – you decide how much support you want.
Start immediately and independently: health, training and your values in one place – whenever you want.
You learn what you really need for healthy cycling – without performance pressure.
For anyone who wants guidance and real diagnostics – from the ambitious rider to the competitive racer.

With the right riding position and a properly fitted bike you get more performance and joy – and it's pain-free. Our seat optimization, combined with performance diagnostics, makes sure you're not only healthier but also more efficient on the road. So you can focus on what matters: the fun of riding.

Stress and hard training spikes drive up the stress hormone cortisol, which suppresses your immune defenses – especially in the 1–3 days after intense sessions. If you scale back the load in time and prioritize sleep and nutrition, you get sick less often.
The clearest sign is a drop in performance despite training. Add to that constant fatigue, loss of motivation, poor sleep and frequent infections.
RED-S means a relative energy deficiency – you're chronically taking in too little energy for training and body functions. Consequences include hormonal disorders and bone loss; recovery can take 6–12 months. So counteract it early.
Not fundamentally – but dosed wrong, yes. With aligned training, nutrition and recovery, cycling is one of the healthiest things you can do.
It's usually the riding position. A professional bike fitting resolves numb hands as well as neck and back discomfort in the vast majority of cases.
It's individual. As a guideline: volume before intensity, around 5–10% increase per week and fixed recovery days. Resting heart rate and sleep quality are good early warning signs.
